Justin leading the ‘Enduro du Touquet’ 2000
After bursting on to the British Quad Racing scene in 1998, Reid’s unrivalled professionalism and work ethic, both on and off the circuit, has seen him maintain his position as a superb ambassador for the sport and his sponsors. Reid’s dynamic performance throughout 2009 has seen him round off a successful season with 7th in the ACU British MMX Quad Championship, 7th at the recent Weston Beach Race and tied for 7th in the QRA ACU British Quad Cross Country Championship despite missing the final round, Reid taking several podium finishes along the way on the Team Can Am DS450 Xmx.

On renewing their ten-year association, Fox Europe’s European Marketing Manager, Brode Vosloo, commented, “1997 was when SHIFT first launched its revolution - we devised a plan to combat the status quo and complacency that has softened an industry born from gritty character, pure guts and blood thirsty independence. Justin became a part of our plan shortly after our launch and has been an integral member of our team ever since. Justin has been an athlete, a fighter, a revolutionary for 10 years now, a decade well spent! Thanks from all at SHIFT.”
British Championship MX 2009 Speaking after the deal had been confirmed, a delighted Reid said, “I can’t describe how happy I am, to be associated with SHIFT again this season. Our partnership goes right back to the 2000 season and I think that that continuity speaks volumes about how I feel about their products. SHIFT has always appealed to me because it is striking and fresh and this year’s gear looks simply awesome again. Thank you to everyone at SHIFT for all their support through the ups and the downs and for their commitment to quad racing.”
P&O Winter Supermoto 2007 Never one to rest on his laurels and focused on keeping his fitness and race pace up to scratch, despite the added pressure and time constraints of negotiations for the season ahead, Reid has maintained his training regime and is currently contesting the P&O Winter Supermoto series (where he took 3 wins at the last round) and will also compete in the Future West promoted 2010 British Supercross Championship over the winter months, action kicking off at the NEC Arena in Birmingham on the 28th of November where Justin will be aiming to improve on his outstanding 3rd place overall in the 2009 series.
